Shamil D Cooray
Shamil is an Endocrinologist with clinical appointments at Monash Health and Alfred Health in Melbourne. He is also a PhD candidate at the Monash Centre for Health Research and Implementation which integrates clinical service, research and leadership in diabetes and is within the School of Public Health and Preventative Medicine at Monash University. He is supported by a National Health and Medical Research Council Postgraduate Scholarship and top-up scholarships from the Australian Academy of Science and Diabetes Australia. His PhD program focuses on improving the model-of-care for women with Gestational Diabetes.
