Dr Ahmed Hussein Endocrinology Advanced Trainee Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital NSW-Australia PhD candidate and Conjoint Associate Lecturer Western Sydney University Throughout my journey for physician and Endocrinology training in different hospitals, I am passionate about helping patients manage diabetes and other endocrine problems in a personalised and comprehensive approach that is based on the best scientific evidence. My main area of interest includes thyroid disorders, adolescent transition in Type 1 diabetes and insulin pump therapy for Type 1 diabetes. Besides clinical care, I am actively involved in different research projects, and I am also passionate about education at all levels.
